ECIR2022 will be an in-person conference with support for remote attendance. (All COVID restrictions have been lifted in Norway — see up-to-date information on the COVID situation in our Travel information page.)

Upgrading an existing (online-only) registration
Those that wish to attend in person can upgrade their online-only registration a physical conference pass by paying only the difference.
Registration fees
Registration deadlines:
- Early – until February 28, 12:00 CET
- Normal – until March 20, 12:00 CET
- Late – until April 14
The discounted price (10% off the regular price) is for ACM SIGIR and BCS IRSG members.

Student travel grant
The call for ECIR 2022 student grants is now open. The grant program is for students who wish to attend the conference in person in Stavanger, Norway. Note that students who are presenting at the conference and do not have sufficient travel budget will be prioritized.
Deadline for the application is Feb 28th 2022 (12.00 CET).
